Ocean Front
Ocean Front by Mike Winkelmann (popularly known as Beeple) is one of the artist’s most expensive works (his third most expensive NFT artwork). More than just a pretty work of art, the piece is a grim reminder of the fate that is likely to befall the world if the current trend of climate change continues unchecked. The OceanFront art depicts a stack of large containers and trailers with a tree growing on top of the unfamiliar stack in the middle of the ocean. The artwork which depicts a rather dystopian scene sold for $6 million.
