Pak, the creator of the Clock NFT has several NFT projects to his name. Many of Pak’s project infuse novel ideas and elements of gamification in them. This unique piece is a sort of clock that displays the number of days since the WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange has been in prison. AssangeDAO, the organization created to raise the funds for Assange’s legal defense, raised the bid amount for the purchase of the NFT. It sold for about 16,593 ETH which is equivalent to $52.7 million. The proceeds went to the Wau Holland Stiftung Moral Courage-a project that was set up to aid Assange’s freedom.
