Musician Shawn Mendes launched his first NFT on the OpenSea Marketplace in 2021 adding him to the list of celebrities who own NFTs. His NFT art drew inspiration from his album titled “Wonder”. It was a collaboration with Genies. Mendes’ collection included a range of digital wearables like earrings, necklaces, vests, and guitars. The NFT sale earned him over $600,000in NFTs and more than a million dollars in overall digital goods sales.
